Accessing your email

If you have your website hosted with Small Business Web Support, or if I have registered you a domain with fastcomet.com, then you will probably also have email addresses for your domain. There are two ways to access your email

Using an email client

Use the web client software of your choice, for example, outlook, and use the option to add a new account. the settings will be as follows

==== Outgoing Email Server ====

• Host: mail.yourdomain.tld  [ eg mail.smallbusinesswebsupport.co.uk]
• Port: 25 (No SSL/TLS) or 465/587(SSL/TLS)
• Protocol: SMTP
• Username: youremail@yourdomain.tld [ eg sarah@smallbusinesswebsupport.co.uk]
• Password: the actual password for the email account you are about to use
• Authentication – Server requires authentication: Yes

==== Incoming Email Server ====

• Host: mail.yourdomain.tld  [ eg mail.smallbusinesswebsupport.co.uk]
• Port: 143 (IMAP, No SSL/TLS) 993(IMAP, SSL)
• Protocol: IMAP
• Username: youremail@yourdomain.tld [ eg sarah@smallbusinesswebsupport.co.uk]
• Password: the actual password for the email account you are about to use

OR

• Host:mail.yourdomain.tld  [ eg mail.smallbusinesswebsupport.co.uk]
• Port: 110 (POP3, No SSL/TLS) 995(POP3, SSL)
• Protocol: POP3
• Username: mail.yourdomain.tld  [ eg mail.smallbusinesswebsupport.co.uk]
• Password: the actual password for the email account you are about to use

Using a web browser

You can easily view your email using a web browser and the web address http://www.yourdomain.tld/webmail, eg to access my email, I use the website https://smallbusinesswebsupport.co.uk/webmail
